@funthomas: I heard about Matheus!Are they serious in your country?OK he was a good player but the last 3-4 years he is just an advertisement.Maybe later he could be a good coach but I don't think now.

I agree with Kostas4. Mathaeus was a great player but I don't think he will make it as a coach.

For me the best german coaches are Hitzfield and Rehaggel and not because he's the coach of Greece but because he is a good tactiitian.

I hope Mathaues does well at Hungary but I can't see it happening.

Well...U are right, Matheus has proved nothing as a trainer...

However, he has two strenghts:
- As Germany is the biggest market for the Hungarian players, maybe the German managers will follow with more attention our players
- As the next World Championship organized by Germany, it means a huge prestige question for Matheus as well.

Hope dies at the last time! ;)

Well,well,look who's back :)!
Nice to hear from you again funthomas,I guess you must have been busy all that time starting up the  DPFC....
 ......."Debreceni PAOK fan club"  ;D ;D

It is quite funny but once again I cannot wish you luck ::)
As you know I 'm living in Belgium and guess what, my favorite
club is Brugge of course ;) In my younger years I 've been following them a lot,as I was living nearby...Nowdays I still follow the team but mostly on TV.
About the game I must tell you that nobody is talking about it.
Loki doesn't sound very exiting at all and after the draw took place everybody was thinking of who could be the next opponent.All this can only be good news for you and Loki as we both remember what happened last time that someone has underestimated you :-[
Brugge are the clear favorites,more than PAOK was at the time we played eachother.By saying 80-20 for Club to qualify
I think I 'm being quite realistic.After a horrible start in the league the team has started rolling again after the winter brake (5 consecutive wins in last 5 games,16-1 goals..)
It seems that the game is coming at a bad moment for Loki 8)  
Anyway,enough said for today.I 'm sure we will hear from you again.If there is anything you would like to know feel free to ask.I would be glad if I could help.

Anyway, I agree with your words. We have no chance "on table". However, very dangerous to underestimate us: little, no name team from eastern europe against a team who come from champions league with good results and reputation... We will fight as lions, trust me  8)

Which town are u living in Belgium? Cannot u see the match in live? It will be a good chance to meet u and drink a good beer  8)

My friend,funthomas,I never said that you have NO CHANCE,
I only mentioned that THEORETICALY you have even less chances than against PAOK.I also spoke about the-existing!-
danger of underestimating Loki ::)
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the game :(.
But,who knows,maybe in the next round (if there will be one) 8)
The place I live is called Leuven,is situated  about 25km to the
east of Brussels and about 150km from Brugge.
2 funny things about Leuven...the most famous "thing" about it, is its University (like Debrecen I guess)
Second and most funny,in a city of 100,000 from which about
20! Greeks,there is another guy called dikefalos if I 'm not mistaken ::),and guess what,he is as crazy about PAOK as I am ;D.!So,the 2 of us met and now
we are spreading our religion to the locals....

About meeting eachother sounds excellent!! If you are staying
in Belgium for a couple of days,perhaps to visit Brussels or sthing,we can definately arrange it.You can send me an e-mail
and then we can be more specific.Untill then,take care and have a safe journey to "our" country!!

It seems that we will have to meet,the soonest,next year...
but then how can that happen?
PAOK is going to the Champions League and I am afraid Loki
will not :-\.Anyway,you never know...

As for tomorrow's game,I think that you now have even less
chances than before the first leg.In my ears sounds impossible
that Loki can beat Club by 2 goals !!
It all depends on Club's motivation.Upcoming sunday we play
at home against the Belgian F-***ing-varos,Anderlecht...
After an incredible run of 6 consecutive wins Brugge is second
again and on a Ch.L. spot which is very important,more than the Uefa cup.Still,I believe that Club will qualify.One way or another ;)

Enjoy the game,and if I was to choose,I would definately prefer to defeat Anderlecht than Loki...

Do not be so pusillanimous my friend! We are in the fourth place on the Hungarian league, only one win far from the first place. Champions league is not a dream for us  ;)

We will beat Bruges by two goals today and we will in the best 16 teams in the Uefa cup  ;) Europe is learning the name of Loki nowadays  8)

We were in a pub in Bruges and we sing the "song" fuck anderlecht together  8)

After tomorrow you can concentrate only to the Belgian league as the Uefa is the past for FCB.  ;)

Anyway, I wait a very tough game and it will be very difficult for us but we will try it!

No more,no less than expected...

It's quite normal if you consider that you scored 1(one!) goal
in the last 4 Uefa cup games...
Anyway,what I will remember from this year's campaign will be

1.The f***ing Croat referees from our first game
2.A nice guy,called funthomas,who became part of our forum
life!!!

well...the game is over...
Bruges deserved its qualification to the next round. Without goals there is no chance or just very limited...

However, I am very proud of my team, they did their best. We went through three rounds in the Uefa cup with only one lost match. Hundreds (funs) followed our team to Litvan, Croatia, Greece, Belgium. We demonstrated that Debrecen has a place in the European football cups.

I am happy that I knew you (Paok funs), I am looking at you as true friends.

AK4, bannon, my friends, and other Paok funs! I would be happy if I can return your friendship. Let me know if you need sg when you are in Hungary.

I hope Debrecen and Paok will meet in the next season in the Champions league and we can meet, drink and discuss everything personally.
