Islam Issa: What's you current situation? Are you back in the Maritimo selection?
Abdelsatar Sabry: Yes I am back in the selection.
II: Why are you back in it exactly?
AS: Well the manager has changed and other things like that have happened too. A new manager has come. He plays me all the time. The new manager didn't play me for the first eight matches he came for, but I have played in about sixteen games in a row now.
II: Are you going to stay in Portugal or Europe next season?
AS: I don't know until now. There are some clubs from Spain, Portugal and France that are interested. I will only know at the end of this month.
II: Have Maritimo offered you a new contract?
AS: Yes they have offered me a new contract of course. But I have had enough now, I am not going to renew it now. I don't want to, definitely no.
II: Can you tell us the names of the clubs interested in you?
AS: Well there is Nice, and Nantes, but they will speak to my manager. Also from Spain, there is Alaves and Mallorca.
II: Are you considering coming back to play in Egypt at all?
AS: No there is still a while. I am not thinking of that as I still have at least four or five years in Europe inshallah.
II: Have there been any talks between you and Mohsen Saleh?
AS: No. There have been no talks from Mohsen Saleh. I am not happy about this at all. I don't know why he won't call me up to be honest.
II: Finally, if you remember your fan interview with the EP visitors, you kept mentioning that you will return stronger than ever. Are you still confident of that?
AS: Yes of course. Alhamdulilah I am going well, but the club is not satisfactory. But I also don't know why Mohsen Saleh is not picking me and I find it surprising. I really don't know why to be honest.
Sabry has promised that EP will be the first to know his next move. EP will continue reporting especially on Abdelsatar Sabry's next move, which he hopes will get him back representing his nation...
