Rapid’s young team does preety well last season, finishing in 2nd place. The trainer stayed the same from last season, so they will not have to adopt on some new systems or trainings.
The transfer period has give this team new impact of fresh and young blood, which is policy of their coach. Also, some players have comed from Rapid’s younger categories. Last year this method bring surprisingly good results. Some older players that was used in rotation last season was sold and main player Hoffman stayed.
They have played 9 games in pre-season, winning 6, drawing 2 and losing 1 of them, with goal difference 44:5 which on paper looks fantastical, but there were some easier opponents in this games too. More notable results are draw against Sparta Prague 1-1 and loose against Roma 1-2.
This team’s aim this season is surely the title and their main quality is their energy, because they are young and very promising. The team is almost same like last year, strengthened with some new young forces which will again give boost for this team. Still, in my opinion they can’t be that constant to win the league.
