Ding Dong Ding…The bells sounded to the ears of every PAOK fan across the universe! Ding Dong Ding…the sound of the bells is constant in my ears since yesterday. My head is humming. I hear that the name of the bank will be announced in the oncoming days, the bank where I will pay in order to take PAOK into my own hands; just a small piece of PAOK; but a piece which for me will be so huge that I will not even conceptualize. Ding Dong Ding… for fuck shake, I still cannot believe that in less than one year, this person (Zagorakis) has purged our team from all the dirt and the sewers that had mangled the guts of PAOK. Moreover, what he is actually doing right now is to deliver the “keys” of PAOK to me, to you, to all of us, in order to enter the “home” that we love the most; a house which some months ago seemed to be a brothel rather than a healthy club. Ding Dong Ding…my head cannot stop ringing. One shouts Zerard; Englishmen in silk – stocking shouts the other, but I really do not give a fuck; all these names sound like vague whispers to me. It is like experiencing the most wonderful dream; a really ecstatic one! It is only after a while that I am becoming conscious of the reality; and what a reality! PAOK since 13th of June, and at least until the end of this year, will be available to Its millions of supporters. The slogan “PAOK belongs to Its supporters” will be materialized for one year. For every each one of us that we could no longer stand any type of crooks; for every each one of us that has experienced every kind of bitterness and nevertheless has learned to live in quite desperation, waiting for the resurrection of our club; for everyone that used to pay the price, in a daily basis, so that for every joy we would have to suffer multiple sorrows. No more crackers, no more thieves, no more liars; enough with all these Hyper – PAOK “fans”. But mostly, enough with the political involvement and their faithful dogs in our club; this is the end of slavery and the rise of liberty. “This is the end my friend” like Jim Morrison once sang. Hurray for liberation! Our enemies are becoming financial giants. One team is administered by 10 wealthy people while the others are run by 5. We must line up something against them in order to fight them. One thing is for sure; no wealthy people or ship owners will ever administer our team; simply because our rebellious souls can never become fellow soldiers with any army run by capital. That is why they consciously avoid us. But the time has come and we can destroy their tactics by lining up our strength. This is the ultimate superhuman weapon that can overpower each one of them; our unique and incredible supporters; our unified fans fear nothing; nothing can make us worry; simply because the luck of money can easily be matched by the pure madness of every single fan. PAOK is not afraid of the capital; history can provide us with many luminous examples where we did not give a fuck about money. The only things that were diachronically obscuring our lunacy were thievery and every type of Trojan horses. Every lost title was a consequence of pure thievery. We were always poorer compared to them but under no circumstances were we inferior; no one is capable of pulling our strings. That is why they were always trying, successfully, to steal us. This is exactly what we will try to change by grasping the opportunity and take matters into our own hands; by acquiring a small part of our PAOK. It is today my fellow comrades that we write the next chapter of PAOK; all of us, together and always united. Our grandfathers were always telling stories, really proud ones, about founding our team back in the 1926. Our fathers were prideful that they helped in the construction of Toumba, our stadium. Now, our time has come in order for us to be able of narrating to our children that we were the first team in Greece whose fans accepted the challenge of becoming the pioneers of taking the fate of our team into our own hands; fans that did not hesitate to follow their hearts and mutually trusted each other; fans that gave everything to their most beloved notion in the universe; It sounds so nice, doesn’t it! I can add that is also sounds so romantic, an action which reminds to all of us of different eras and decades. But one thing is for sure, that this action emanates from the craziness and devotion of our millions of supporters. So let’s believe in this dream and let’s “drain” all the stocks. Let’s altogether put an abrupt end in this prison that was built over and above our dreams and visions for this team; let’s make PAOK a Leviathan that will devour all our enemies. Let’s try and put the foundations for a PAOK that will be so gigantic like the one we dream; so that the double headed eagle will fly as high as the sun; where no “investors” would ever allow him to fly… PAOKCURE (translated by GkaZ4) 02/07/2008 |
